I am Esra, the heart and founder behind (be) Fragil, inspired by the resilient lineage of women who came before me.

Raised amidst the picturesque landscapes of Sweden, I am a third-generation agricultural woman. From my grandmother Elif and my mother Esma, I inherited not only a love for the land but also the ancient art of cold-pressing botanicals into into potent elixirs. Their teachings became the cornerstone of (be) Fragil, infusing each product with a legacy of care and craftswomenship.

Yet, it was my mother's battle with Fibromyalgia that unveiled the true healing power of our ancestral lands. In the olive tree-dotted mountains of Ayvalik, Turkey, where she returned and rediscovered her strength and connection to the earth. Witnessing her devotion ignited a flame within me—a passion to honor to return to the feminine essence of nurturing oneself through the earth.

14 years ago I found myself at the distant shores of California's coast line where I put anchor —a love affair with gentle waves of the Pacific , the majestic heights of the Canyons, and the silence of the Mojave desert. This place has become the weaving essence where I became the women I am today.

At (be) Fragil, we believe in the power of self-care as a sacred feminine ritual. In a world that often diminishes the importance of softness and emotion, our mission is to remind women to reclaim their innate nurturing nature. Through our carefully crafted products and holistic approach to skincare and wellness, we aim to inspire a deeper connection to oneself and the natural world.

Our ethos is simple: to create a sanctuary for the feminine soul, reminding the connection between women and earth.
